  9. Renderfarmer is a stand alone program for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 (Intel)
  10. It is a renderfarm control utility for Lightwave. It can control a farm of up to 30 
  11. networked workstations running the Screamernet software.

  14. This is a new version of Renderfarmer.
  15.  
  16. It is a follow up to the full version 0.9 I published on my website, I got a lot of 
  17. EMail from Lightwave users all round the world. Almost all of you had some problems with 
  18. it - some of you were nonetheless able to get it working.

  20. The new version should address most of those problems:
  21.  
  22. 1) The way in which save paths are treated has been re-written.
  23. 2) This version allows network save paths. 
  24. 3) The program examines the LW.CFG file and now works with HIIP save modules.
  25. 4) The program insists on manual configuration. Rather than using the crashy self config.
  26. 5) The feature to test available space on the target drive can be disabled.
